It's Christmas again, which means it's that time of the year when various activist groups go out to wage War on Christ in Christmas. The War on Christmas has arrived to Newaygo, Michigan where an anti-christian activist group demanded the removal of a three wise men display at an elementary school. The three wise men display has been a part of the town’s Christmas traditions since the 1940s.
According to CNN, the self-described civil rights group — Michigan Association of Civil Rights Activists (MACRA) — has given Newaygo school an ultimatum: take down the Christmas display or face legal action.
“We’ve asked the school to remove what is in essence a nativity scene, from the top of the school, and from school property, if this were on private property, it wouldn’t be an issue.”
The groups opposing Christmas continue their aggressive campaign battling until the last nativity scene is removed from all public areas. It's interesting to note that we heard nothing from MACRA opposing Halloween celebrations in public schools, the official holiday of satan and his demons. Franklin Graham had a few words of his own to say to the Michigan community at large:
I believe the display of the Three Wise Men over this town should stay up and continue to send a message for years to come. Pray for the people of Newaygo as they battle for their religious freedom.
