President Trump made a promise to his voters. He was going to Washington to clean up the political swamp and end the government corruption.  The swap of corruption in the FBI, DOJ, and other agencies has swallowed many good intentioned prosecutors, judges, and politicians. For a while, many of his voters doubted his resolve to deliver on the promise. However, with Trump’s latest words against Washington corruption, his voters and the public are once again hopeful.  If history is our guide, we know it is not possible to clean up all corruption because it is ingrained in the hearts of government officials. We know if a politician or any individual who does not have a real personal relationship with God will fall under the powerful influence of corruption and bribery found in the political circles. However, not all hope is lost. The President can slow down the progression of corruption in the government, and may even push it back.

With the latest developments, we see political corrupt politicians, crawling out into the open. President Trump is now focusing his executive powers delegated to him by the people to curb the rampant corruption in the DOJ, FBI, and even within the judicial branch. Where does Trump get his boldness? He felt the wrath of corrupt politicians within most government agencies against himself and his family. No one needs to explain to the President how corruption operates within Washington. The President has felt it for the past three years on his own back; he has intimate first-hand knowledge.  Not all politicians are corrupt. There are honest men and women on both the democratic and the republican side. Let’s hope president Trump can use the help of the honest men and women to weed out the corrupt bureaucrats.

However, there are also corrupt politicians on both the democratic and the republican side. Let’s hope that President Trump can restore the rule of law in the USA, reduce the growing level of corruption
