There is a rise of Christian persecution in America against minorities such as the Babichenkos, Iyerusalimets, and the Bibikov’s a group of Russian Jewish American citizens. Vice President Mike Pense spoke about the rise of Christian persecution around the globe and its growth in the USA. Even though Christians are experiencing traditional methods of abuse such as losing a job for standing firm on Biblical principals, however, new methods are also being deployed such as discrediting Christians by falsely accusing and convicting them for financial crimes. Who knew that the Russian Christian Jewish families that were persecuted in the USSR will also be persecuted in America today.
Pence brought attention to the risks Christians face throughout the world. He mentioned a report that comes from the U.K. that indicates the slaughter of Christians has almost reached the level of genocide in some areas of the world. Vice President Pence said that Christians suffer more than any other religious group.
It used to be easy to be a Christian in the U.S., the Vice President said, but not so anymore. “You’re going to be asked not just to tolerate things that violate your faith, you’re going to be asked to endorse it. You’re going to be asked to bow down to the idols of the popular culture.”
